You will be part of the story of bright Lichnidos, city with high achievements in the antique civilization, the famous Ohrid Archbishopric, the first all-Slavonic University of St. Clement’s, glorious medieval Kingdom of Samuil, Byzantium art, the spring of Enlightenment thought. According to the legend, the city used to have 365 churches, which rightly gave it the attribute BALKAN JERUSALEM. We believe that here you would feel the spirit of a nation, enter the pulse of warm hearts of its people and find inner serenity, enjoying the pearly lake waters and magnificent mountain landscapes. Lake Ohrid is one of the oldest and deepest lakes in Europe. It is nestled between Albania and Macedonia and is the perfect place to spend a weekend in one of the most peaceful places of the Balkans. Ohrid is one of the most picturesque and charming towns of the Balkan Peninsula, considered as the cultural capital of North Macedonia.
